Gardening Expert, BBC radio solent
I am a regular gardening expert on BBC Radio Solent, where I share practical tips, answer listener questions, and help people get the most out of their gardens all year round.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Stage Host 2025
I hosted the brand new ‘Give it a Grow’ stage at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2025 where I welcomed gardening greats including Adam Frost and Rachel de Thame. The stage offered practical advice, inspirational talks and expert tips on plant growing, with engaging talks for both seasoned gardeners and beginners.

International Mens Day, Network Rail
In November 2024 I spoke to staff at Network Rail for ‘International Mens Day’ all about my mental health journey, focusing on the transformative power of gardening and the challenges of imposter syndrome.

East Riding Festival of Words
In October 2024 I spoke at the East Riding Festival of Words about my journey into horticulture, gardening for wellbeing and how to get more children and young people outside.

Green Therapy at Andover Mind ‘Garden for Mind’
In September 2024 I hosted two green therapy days at the Andover Mind 'Garden for Mind' on the Waitrose Leckford Estate. These events were part of Winchester Green Week and participants took part in a range of activities from bulb planting to guided mindful walks.

Talk, Green Halo Conference – National Parks for Health: A Natural Health Service
In June 2024 I spoke at the Green Halo ‘National Parks for Health: A Natural Health Service’ Conference in the New Forest. I talked about my national park inspired showcase garden that I created at BBC Gardeners’ World Spring Fair, how we can improve people’s access to nature and how wellbeing is an important factor for me when designing and creating outdoor spaces.

RHS Malvern Spring Festival, Stage Host
I was asked to host the ‘Tips and Tricks’ stage at RHS Malvern Spring Festival 2024. I will speak to a range of experts demonstrating how to fix, make and create things for your home and garden. It also features a timetable of talks from a range of florists, horticultural experts and growers on topics such as growing, harvesting and maintaining florals and vegetables.

Talk, Plumpton College
In December 2023 I gave a talk to past and present horticulture students at Plumpton College. I spoke about my career change, gardening for mental health and garden design.


Mental Health Summit, University of Kent
I was a keynote speaker at the University’s first mental health summit, sharing my belief in the positive influence of plants.
